R-2000iA/100P

The FANUC R-2000iA/100P is a 100 kg payload variant of the R-2000iA series with a pedestal-mount designation, designed for installation on a raised base structure that elevates the robot’s work envelope for applications requiring reach below the mounting platform level. With a 2,650 mm reach and 100 kg payload, it provides substantial capability for material handling and spot welding applications where the full 165 kg or 210 kg capacity of the larger iA variants is not required, offering a cost-effective option in the R-2000iA family.

The R-2000iA/100P shares the slim arm profile and robust joint construction of the R-2000iA family, inheriting the same proven reliability in automotive duty cycles. The reduced payload rating versus the 165F and 210F allows for lighter wrist construction while maintaining the structural rigidity of the R-2000 frame. The pedestal mount configuration is commonly used in press transfer, part loading, and body shop applications where floor-level installation is constrained by tooling or conveyor infrastructure.

The R-2000iA/100P operates on the R-J3iB controller with iPendant. For facilities already standardized on R-J3iB infrastructure, the 100P integrates directly into existing controller networks and programming environments without additional hardware. Parts availability for both the robot and controller remains solid in the used market. FANUC’s ROBOGUIDE supports offline programming for this model, enabling path verification and cell layout simulation.
