R-2000iA/200T

The FANUC R-2000iA/200T is a 200 kg payload variant of the R-2000iA series carrying the T designation for enhanced wrist moment capacity, designed for applications where the combination of high payload and elevated wrist torque demands exceeds what the standard 200 kg configuration provides. With a 2,650 mm reach and a reinforced wrist joint, the 200T is suited for carrying asymmetric loads, large-footprint tooling, and spot welding guns with extended reach arms that generate high moments at the robot wrist even within the nominal payload limit.

The R-2000iA/200T shares the proven slim arm design and robust frame of the R-2000iA family. The T-suffix enhancement targets the J4 through J6 wrist joints, increasing the allowable moment and inertia ratings to accommodate tooling configurations that would overstress a standard wrist at similar payload weights. This capability is particularly relevant in applications using C-type spot welding guns with long throat depths or heavy material handling tools with offset center-of-mass positions.

The R-2000iA/200T operates on the R-J3iB controller with iPendant. The R-J3iB platform is well understood across North American automotive facilities, with strong parts availability and an established base of trained technicians. For plants standardized on R-J3iB, the 200T integrates directly into existing infrastructure. ROBOGUIDE supports offline programming, and TP language compatibility with other R-J3iB platforms allows program reuse and simplified backup management.
