Arc Mate 120iB/10L

The FANUC Arc Mate 120iB/10L is a 10 kg payload long-reach arc welding robot with a 1,667 mm reach, designed for continuous arc welding on large assemblies, structural fabrications, and weldments that exceed the work envelope of the Arc Mate 100-series. The higher payload versus the 6 kg Arc Mate 100iB accommodates heavier water-cooled torches and sensing packages, and the long reach allows the robot to execute complex weld paths on large parts without requiring robot repositioning between weld sections.

The Arc Mate 120iB/10L features through-arm cable management routing the torch cable and ancillary lines through the hollow arm interior, protecting the dress pack from spatter and mechanical wear. The B-generation mechanical platform delivers proven reliability in continuous arc welding duty cycles, with a sealed joint construction that resists the weld spatter, fume, and heat exposure of production welding environments. The slim arm profile minimizes collision risk when approaching tight weld joints and fixture components.

The Arc Mate 120iB/10L is compatible with R-J3iB and R-30iA controllers, supporting FANUC’s arc welding software suite including seam tracking, touch sensing, multi-pass welding functions, and external axis positioner synchronization for coordinated robot-positioner welding. For facilities running R-J3iB infrastructure, the 120iB/10L integrates directly into existing controller networks. ROBOGUIDE WeldPRO enables offline weld path programming and simulation.
