UP130
Heavy-Payload 6-Axis Industrial Robot
Yaskawa UP130
The Yaskawa Motoman UP130 is a heavy-duty 130 kg payload robot with a 3,059 mm reach from Yaskawa’s UP series, designed for automotive spot welding, large-part material transfer, and heavy handling applications requiring both high payload and extended reach. At 3,059 mm of reach, the UP130 spans wide press lines and large fixture assemblies without a floor track, eliminating the installation complexity and maintenance demands of track-based systems while maintaining 130 kg of payload throughout the work envelope.
The UP130 is built on Yaskawa’s proven heavy-payload mechanical architecture, with robust joint construction designed for the high duty cycles and shock loads of automotive spot welding and press room material handling. The sealed joint design resists the contamination environments common in stamping plants. Despite the extreme reach, the UP130 maintains the path accuracy and repeatability required for consistent spot welding gun placement across the full work envelope.
The UP130 operates on the NX100 controller with the NX100 programming pendant. The NX100 is a well-established Yaskawa controller platform with strong parts availability and widespread technician familiarity across North American automotive and manufacturing facilities. INFORM programming language is consistent with other Yaskawa platforms, allowing experienced Yaskawa programmers to work on the UP130 without model-specific retraining. MotoSim offline programming supports path verification and cell simulation.
iGAM inspects and runs every UP130 prior to shipping from our Detroit warehouse. For customers requiring a higher level of readiness, our reconditioning service includes full axis lubrication, servo drive inspection, controller servicing, cable assessment, and cosmetic restoration — bringing the robot to a customer-specified performance standard. We also accept UP130 units from customers who need maintenance or repair performed on robots already in their facility, whether the issue is a failed component, degraded repeatability, or a robot coming out of a long storage period.
