M-710iC/50

The FANUC M-710iC/50 is a medium-payload 6-axis robot with a 50 kg payload and 2,050 mm reach, occupying the space between the M-20iA-class light handlers and the R-2000iB-class heavy robots. The M-710iC series was designed specifically for machine tending, assembly, and material handling applications that outgrow the 20-25 kg payload class but don’t require the full capacity of a heavy automotive robot. Its slim arm profile minimizes interference in machine enclosures and dense production cells.

The M-710iC/50 features a compact footprint for its payload class, with a small installation envelope that allows it to be positioned close to machining centers, presses, and assembly stations. The hollow arm routing accommodates cable management for grippers, sensors, and EOAT electronics. Fast J4, J5, and J6 wrist speeds enable high-throughput part manipulation and reorientation tasks, while the rigid arm structure maintains accuracy under the acceleration loads of rapid pick-and-place cycles.

Compatible with R-30iA and R-30iB controllers in the B-size cabinet, the M-710iC/50 supports FANUC’s full software portfolio including iRVision, Collision Guard, and Force Sensing. The R-30iB platform adds enhanced motion performance and energy efficiency improvements. iPendant and iPendant Touch are available depending on controller generation. ROBOGUIDE supports offline programming and cell layout verification for M-710iC installations.
