The KR 6 R900-2 delivers fast axis speeds — up to 360°/s on J1 through J3 — enabling high-cycle pick-and-place rates that match the throughput demands of electronics and consumer goods production. IP40 standard protection with an optional IP54 upgrade and IP54 wrist suits both clean room and light industrial environments. Operating on the KR C4 compact controller with smartPAD, the KR 6 R900-2 supports KUKA’s software suite in a minimal physical footprint appropriate for small-cell installations. SafeOperation functional safety enables safe collaboration and zone monitoring without external safety hardware. KUKA.OfficeLite enables offline programming and simulation. The KRL programming environment is consistent with all KR C4 robots, and the compact controller can be mounted within the cell structure to minimize external cabinet footprint.
