R-2000iC/270F

The FANUC R-2000iC/270F is the highest-payload variant in the R-2000iC family, handling 270 kg over a 2,655 mm reach. It is designed for carrying the heaviest production spot welding guns — large C-type and X-type guns used on thick structural automotive stampings — where the 210F payload rating would be at or near its limit under acceleration. The 270F provides payload margin that allows for higher-weight gun designs and extended service life of the wrist joint under sustained high-load operation.

Built on the iC mechanical platform, the R-2000iC/270F benefits from the same improved repeatability, faster wrist speeds, and reduced robot weight compared to the iB series. At ±0.05 mm repeatability, it places the gun tip with accuracy well within the tolerance requirements of body-in-white spot welding. The slim arm design maintains compatibility with existing R-2000iB cell layouts, enabling high-payload-gun upgrades on iB infrastructure without cell geometry redesign.

The R-2000iC/270F is compatible with R-30iB and R-30iB Plus controllers in A-size and B-size cabinet configurations. Both platforms support FANUC’s full current software suite including Dual Check Safety, Collision Guard, Zero Downtime predictive maintenance, and iRVision. The R-30iB Plus further improves energy efficiency and adds expanded network integration options. iPendant Touch is standard on R-30iB Plus.
