MH24

The Yaskawa Motoman MH24 is a 24 kg payload general-purpose robot with a 1,730 mm reach, designed for the broad range of material handling, machine tending, and assembly applications that form the backbone of general manufacturing automation. The MH24’s combination of mid-range payload and reach covers the majority of standard machine tending configurations — loading and unloading machining centers, presses, and injection molds — without the cost and footprint of a larger payload-class robot.

The MH24 features Yaskawa’s proven general-purpose robot architecture with a sealed joint design rated to IP54, suitable for the coolant mist and contamination of machine tending environments. Fast wrist axis speeds enable rapid part reorientation between process steps. The MH24’s rigid arm structure provides consistent repeatability at ±0.15 mm across production duty cycles. The robot’s compact footprint allows tight cell layouts alongside production equipment with limited available floor space.

Compatible with DX100 and DX200 controllers in standard cabinet configurations, the MH24 supports Yaskawa’s software suite including Functional Safety Unit (FSU) for safe zone monitoring, vision guidance through Yaskawa’s MotoSight 2D vision package, and coordinated motion for positioner synchronization. The DX100 and DX200 programming pendants provide the teach programming interface, with INFORM programming language consistent across the Yaskawa robot family. MotoSim offline programming supports cell layout simulation and program development.

Every MH24 that passes through iGAM’s Detroit facility is powered on and run through a full axis evaluation before it ships. Our team reviews alarm history, checks battery backup status, and documents the condition of the controller, teach pendant, and cables.
