M-10iA

The FANUC M-10iA is a compact 6-axis robot with a 10 kg payload and 1,420 mm reach, designed for assembly, machine tending, and light material handling in applications where floor space and cell footprint are at a premium. The M-10iA’s slim arm and small installation footprint allow it to be positioned close to machine tools, assembly stations, and conveyor systems while maintaining adequate reach to service the full work area. It is a workhorse general-purpose robot with a large installed base across automotive, electronics, and general manufacturing.

The M-10iA features a hollow arm architecture that routes utility cables internally from J1 to J3, protecting dress packs from interference and wear in confined cell environments. Fast axis speeds — particularly at the wrist — enable high-throughput assembly and inspection tasks where rapid part reorientation is required between process steps. The sealed joint construction resists the coolant and contamination exposure common in machine tending applications.

Compatible with R-30iA and R-30iB controllers in the B-size cabinet, the M-10iA supports FANUC’s full software suite including iRVision for camera-guided applications, Force Sensing for compliant assembly, and Collision Guard. iPendant and iPendant Touch are available depending on controller generation. FANUC’s ROBOGUIDE fully supports the M-10iA for offline programming and cell layout simulation.
