M-900iA/260L

The FANUC M-900iA/260L is an ultra-heavy-payload robot with a 260 kg capacity and an extended 3,106 mm reach, built for the heaviest automotive press room and industrial material transfer applications. The long-arm configuration provides reach across wide press bed openings, extended conveyor transfers, and large part staging areas that would otherwise require floor tracks or gantry systems. It is a purpose-built platform for applications where payload and reach are the defining requirements.

The M-900iA/260L is engineered for the high-shock, high-inertia conditions of press room automation, with a rigid mechanical structure designed to control 260 kg loads accurately through transfer paths. Joint speeds are tuned for smooth, controlled motion under maximum load, prioritizing accuracy and system reliability over cycle time. The sealed joint construction resists the coolant, swarf, and airborne contamination common in stamping and casting environments.

Compatible with R-30iA and R-30iB controllers in the A-size cabinet, the M-900iA/260L supports FANUC’s full software portfolio including iRVision for guidance applications and Collision Guard for protection of high-value tooling. The iPendant and iPendant Touch are available depending on controller generation. Programming support through ROBOGUIDE enables offline simulation of press transfer sequences, reducing physical prove-out time during cell commissioning.
