Arc Mate 120iC/12L

The FANUC Arc Mate 120iC/12L is a 12 kg payload long-reach arc welding robot with a 1,667 mm reach, combining the higher payload and larger work envelope of the 120-series with the mechanical improvements of the iC generation. The 12 kg payload accommodates heavier water-cooled torches, dual-wire welding heads, and integrated sensing packages, while the 1,667 mm reach allows access to large structural fabrications and weldments without robot repositioning between weld sections.

The iC-series mechanical platform delivers improved repeatability and faster wrist speeds compared to the 120iB generation, enabling tighter weld bead placement and higher travel speeds on long seam welds. Through-arm cable management routes the torch dress pack through the hollow arm from J3 to the wrist, protecting the cable from spatter and wear. The slim arm profile minimizes fixture collision risk in complex weld cell layouts with multiple fixturing elements.

Compatible with R-30iA and R-30iB controllers, the Arc Mate 120iC/12L supports FANUC’s full arc welding software suite including seam tracking, touch sensing, arc welding process control, multi-pass welding, and positioner synchronization. The R-30iB platform adds improved path accuracy under high welding speeds and enhanced sensor integration for adaptive welding processes. FANUC ROBOGUIDE WeldPRO enables offline programming and weld path simulation for complex assemblies.
