R-2000iC/165F

The FANUC R-2000iC/165F is a 165 kg payload robot with a 2,655 mm reach from the R-2000iC series — the next-generation successor to the R-2000iB/165F. It delivers measurably improved repeatability at ±0.05 mm versus ±0.2 mm on the iB, and at 1,090 kg is lighter than the iB/165F. The slim arm geometry is shared with the rest of the R-2000iC family, maintaining compatibility with existing R-2000iB body shop cell layouts during upgrade projects.

The iC platform redesigns the wrist with faster J4, J5, and J6 speeds compared to the iB series, reducing cycle times on complex weld paths. The improved mechanical architecture reduces maintenance intervals and improves grease retention in the axis joints versus the prior generation. The lightweight design reduces structural loading on elevated robot platforms and track systems.

Compatible with R-30iB and R-30iB Plus controllers, the R-2000iC/165F supports FANUC’s full current software portfolio including iRVision, Dual Check Safety, Zero Downtime predictive maintenance, and Collision Guard. For plants upgrading from R-2000iB/165F infrastructure, the iC/165F is a direct bolt-pattern and payload-class replacement.
