FANUC M-900iB/360
The FANUC M-900iB/360 delivers a 360 kg payload across a 2,832 mm reach, making it one of the highest-capacity industrial robots available in the used market. Designed for the heaviest automotive press room transfer, large structural steel handling, and industrial foundry applications, it represents the upper boundary of what a single articulated robot can lift and transfer without specialized heavy-lift gantry equipment. The M-900iB platform is the successor to the M-900iA series, bringing updated controls compatibility and mechanical improvements.
The M-900iB/360 is built around the same proven heavy-axis mechanical architecture as the M-900iA series, with engineering refinements that improve grease retention, reduce maintenance intervals, and support higher controller processing speeds. The sealed joint design handles the contamination environments common in stamping plants and foundries. Despite its extreme payload rating, the M-900iB/360 maintains the programming flexibility of FANUC’s standard robot architecture, making it integrable into existing FANUC infrastructure.
The M-900iB/360 is compatible with R-30iA and R-30iB Plus controllers in the A-size cabinet format. The R-30iB Plus platform supports FANUC’s current full software suite including Dual Check Safety, Zero Downtime predictive maintenance, and Collision Guard. iPendant and iPendant Touch are available depending on controller generation. Offline programming through ROBOGUIDE enables simulation of press transfer paths prior to physical installation.
