KR 100-2 PA

The KUKA KR 100-2 PA is a 4-axis palletizing robot with a 100 kg payload and 3,200 mm reach, designed for high-speed medium-payload palletizing, order picking, and handling tasks. The third-axis linkage is constructed from carbon fiber composite material — making it lighter, faster, and more cost-effective than conventional steel construction while maintaining structural rigidity. This allows stacking up to 100 kg loads at heights up to 3,000 mm at rates as high as 600 palletizing cycles per hour.

The KR 100-2 PA features a small footprint with the highest vertical reach in its class, providing installation flexibility in constrained floor layouts. The integrated PalletTech software simplifies pallet pattern programming through an offline PC-based pattern editor, significantly reducing commissioning time for new pallet configurations. KUKA’s PalletTech software monitors and controls the palletizing process during product changes and fault restarts.

Compatible with the KR C2 ed05 controller with KCP teach pendant — a proven platform with strong parts availability. The R programming language and KCP controller interface are consistent with other KR C2 robots, enabling technicians familiar with KUKA to work on the KR 100-2 PA without model-specific retraining. The controller uses standard PC components for high availability and modular maintenance.
