R-2000iB/165F

The FANUC R-2000iB/165F is a 165 kg payload robot with a 2,650 mm reach from the same iB family as the 210F, offering a payload rating that suits a wide range of spot welding gun configurations and material handling applications. It shares the same robust mechanical frame and slim arm geometry as the R-2000iB/210F, making it interchangeable in many body shop layouts and compatible with the same controller generations.

The R-2000iB/165F delivers the same class-leading arm rigidity and path accuracy as the rest of the iB family, with a wrist moment capacity appropriate for medium-weight spot welding guns and grippers. The hollow upper arm accommodates cable and hose routing for welding gun power, cooling water, and signal lines, keeping dress packages compact. Its proven reliability in high-duty-cycle automotive environments is reflected in its exceptionally large installed base across North American production facilities.

Controller compatibility spans R-J3iB, R-30iA, and R-30iB — the broadest range in the R-2000 family — giving buyers flexibility to integrate into existing control infrastructure or specify a modern controller. Software options including iRVision, Collision Guard, and Force Sensing are supported across R-30iA and R-30iB platforms. FANUC’s ROBOGUIDE simulation software fully supports this model for offline programming and cell layout verification.
