R-2000iB/125L

The FANUC R-2000iB/125L is the longest-reach variant in the R-2000iB family, providing a 125 kg payload over a 3,001 mm reach — the first R-2000 variant to exceed 3 meters of reach as a standard floor-mounted configuration. The extended reach allows the robot to span wide press beds, large fixture stations, and extended transfer distances without a floor track, reducing installation complexity and eliminating the maintenance and cycle time overhead associated with linear track systems.

The R-2000iB/125L shares the slim arm geometry and robust joint construction of the R-2000iB family, with the extended upper arm providing the reach advantage. At 125 kg payload, it carries medium-weight spot welding guns and material handling grippers over the full 3-meter reach envelope with the path accuracy and repeatability expected of the iB platform. The wrist design maintains adequate moment capacity for production tooling at the extended reach distances.

Compatible with R-J3iB and R-30iB controllers in the B-size cabinet, the R-2000iB/125L supports FANUC’s software ecosystem across both controller generations. Collision Guard is particularly valuable at extended reach distances where the robot is operating near press tooling and fixture components at the limits of its work envelope. ROBOGUIDE offline programming is recommended for extended-reach installations to verify path feasibility and cable management before physical commissioning.
