KUKA KR 360-2

The KUKA KR 360-2 is a 360 kg payload 6-axis robot with a 2,826 mm reach from KUKA’s proven KR 2 generation heavy-payload series. Designed for automotive press room transfer, heavy casting handling, and high-payload spot welding, it provides substantial capacity for the heaviest general manufacturing applications without reaching the extreme scale of the KR TITAN series. The KR 360-2 can be floor or ceiling mounted, allowing effective use of overhead space in dense production layouts.

The KR 360-2 is built on the robust KR 2 series mechanical architecture — a proven platform with a large installed base and strong parts availability throughout North America. A foundry variant provides IP67 protection and heat-resistant coating for operation in steel work and high-contamination environments. The sealed joint design handles the press room environment, and the robot’s structural rigidity maintains accuracy under high-inertia 360 kg loads.

Compatible with the KR C2 ed05 controller with KCP teach pendant — a widely understood platform with strong technician familiarity and established parts supply chains across North American automotive facilities. The KRL programming environment is consistent with all KR C2 robots, allowing existing KUKA-trained technicians to work on the KR 360-2 without model-specific retraining.
