R-2000iC/210R

The FANUC R-2000iC/210R is the shelf-mount variant of the R-2000iC/210F, engineered for installation on an elevated shelf or raised structure rather than a conventional floor base. Shelf mounting elevates the robot’s base position to extend the effective reach downward into press beds, fixture stations, and transfer zones below the mounting level, while the shelf itself frees the floor area beneath for tooling, conveyors, or fixturing. This configuration is widely used in automotive body shops where floor space is a premium and cell density is high.

The 210R shares all mechanical and performance specifications with the R-2000iC/210F — 210 kg payload, 2,655 mm reach, ±0.05 mm repeatability — on the same iC-platform mechanical structure. The R designation reflects the mounting configuration rather than a different mechanical design. All iC-platform improvements over the iB generation apply equally: faster wrist speeds, improved repeatability, lighter robot weight, and reduced maintenance intervals.

Compatible with R-30iB and R-30iB Plus controllers, the R-2000iC/210R supports FANUC’s full current software portfolio. Dual Check Safety enables safe speed and zone monitoring without external safety relays, critical in the dense layouts where shelf-mounted robots are most commonly deployed. Zero Downtime predictive maintenance and Collision Guard round out the software capabilities relevant to high-production body shop environments.
