R-2000iC/210F

The FANUC R-2000iC/210F is the next-generation successor to the R-2000iB/210F, delivering the same 210 kg payload and 2,655 mm reach with measurably improved performance across every key metric. Repeatability improves from ±0.2 mm on the iB to ±0.05 mm on the iC — a significant gain for applications requiring precise gun placement or part positioning. At 1,370 kg, the iC is also lighter than the iB/210F, reducing structural loading on elevated robot platforms and floor track systems.

The iC platform introduces a redesigned wrist with faster J4, J5, and J6 speeds compared to the iB series, reducing cycle times on complex weld paths and multi-point transfer sequences. The slim arm geometry is retained from the iB, maintaining compatibility with existing body shop cell layouts during upgrade projects. The iC’s revised mechanical architecture reduces maintenance intervals and improves grease retention in the axis joints, lowering long-term operating costs versus the prior generation.

The R-2000iC/210F operates on R-30iB and R-30iB Plus controllers, both of which support FANUC’s full current software portfolio including iRVision, Dual Check Safety, Zero Downtime predictive maintenance, and Collision Guard. The R-30iB Plus further improves energy efficiency and adds the iPendant Touch as standard. For plants upgrading from R-2000iB infrastructure, the iC/210F is a direct bolt-pattern and payload-class replacement, simplifying the mechanical portion of the upgrade significantly.
