R-2000iC/210L

The FANUC R-2000iC/210L is the extended-reach variant of the R-2000iC/210F, providing a 210 kg payload over a 3,100 mm reach — the longest in the R-2000iC family. The L-suffix long-arm configuration is used in applications where robot reach must span wide press beds, large fixture stations, or extended transfer distances that would require a floor track system with a standard-reach robot. Eliminating the floor track reduces installation cost, maintenance complexity, and the cycle time overhead of track motion.

Despite its extended reach, the R-2000iC/210L retains the ±0.05 mm repeatability of the standard iC platform, making it suitable not just for transfer but for precision gun placement at extended distances. The iC mechanical improvements — faster wrist speeds, improved grease retention, reduced maintenance intervals — all carry through to the L variant. At 1,480 kg, the extended arm adds mass versus the 210F, which should be accounted for in foundation and mounting structure design.

The R-2000iC/210L is compatible with R-30iB and R-30iB Plus controllers in A-size and B-size cabinet configurations. The full FANUC software suite applies, including Collision Guard — particularly important for extended-reach robots operating near press tooling and fixture components at the limits of the work envelope. ROBOGUIDE offline programming is strongly recommended for extended-reach robot installations to verify reach, singularity avoidance, and cable management prior to physical commissioning.
