Arc Mate 100iC/6L

The FANUC Arc Mate 100iC/6L is the long-reach variant of the Arc Mate 100iC series, offering a 6 kg payload with an extended 1,637 mm reach for arc welding applications requiring access into deep fixtures, over tall weld positioners, or across wider part geometries. The additional reach versus the standard Arc Mate 100iC eliminates the need to reposition the robot or the fixture for parts that would otherwise be at the edge of the work envelope, simplifying cell layout and improving cycle time.

Like all Arc Mate models, the 100iC/6L features through-arm torch cable management from J3 to the wrist, protecting the welding dress pack from spatter and mechanical wear. The iC-series mechanical platform delivers improved repeatability and faster wrist speeds compared to the 100iB generation, enabling tighter weld bead placement and faster travel speeds on long seam welds. The slim arm profile minimizes collision risk when working in confined fixture environments.

The Arc Mate 100iC/6L is compatible with R-30iA and R-30iB controllers, supporting FANUC’s full arc welding software suite including seam tracking, touch sensing, arc welding process control, and positioner synchronization. The R-30iB platform adds expanded sensor integration and improved path accuracy under high-speed welding conditions. FANUC’s ROBOGUIDE WeldPRO software enables offline programming and weld path simulation, reducing physical prove-out time during cell commissioning.
