Arc Mate 120iC

The FANUC Arc Mate 120iC is a 20 kg payload arc welding robot with a 1,667 mm reach, offering a significantly larger work envelope than the Arc Mate 100-series for welding applications on larger assemblies, structural fabrications, and heavy weldments. The 20 kg payload accommodates heavier water-cooled torches, sensing packages, and multi-process welding heads that exceed the capacity of the 6 kg 100-series robots, making it the preferred choice for heavy fabrication and structural steel welding applications.

The Arc Mate 120iC features through-arm cable management for the welding torch dress pack, routing cables through the hollow arm from J3 to the wrist to minimize external hose and cable exposure. The iC-series mechanical platform delivers improved repeatability and higher wrist speeds versus the 120iB generation, enabling tighter bead placement and faster travel speeds on long, continuous seam welds. The sealed joint construction resists the spatter, heat, and fume environment of production arc welding.

Compatible with R-30iA and R-30iB controllers, the Arc Mate 120iC supports FANUC’s full arc welding software suite including seam tracking, touch sensing, arc welding process control, multi-pass welding functions, and external axis positioner synchronization. The R-30iB platform adds improved path accuracy under high welding speeds and expanded sensor integration for adaptive welding processes. FANUC’s ROBOGUIDE WeldPRO enables offline programming and weld path simulation.
