The FANUC M-900iA/350 is a 350 kg payload robot with a 2,832 mm reach from the M-900iA series, designed for the heaviest material handling and press room applications in automotive and heavy industrial manufacturing. At 350 kg payload capacity, it handles the largest automotive stampings, heavy casting transfers, and structural components that exceed the capability of the R-2000 family. The M-900iA platform was purpose-built for high-shock press room environments where structural rigidity and long-term durability are paramount.
The M-900iA/350 operates on a 6-axis architecture optimized for heavy transfer motion — lower axis speeds than general-purpose robots, but with the mechanical strength to control 350 kg loads through the full work envelope without structural deflection. The sealed joint design resists the stamping plant environment: coolant, press oil mist, metal particulate, and temperature cycling. Compatible with R-J3iB and R-30iA controllers in the A-size cabinet format, the M-900iA/350 supports FANUC’s software ecosystem including iRVision for part guidance and Collision Guard for tooling protection. iPendant and iPendant Touch are available depending on controller generation. Programming through FANUC’s standard TP language means technicians familiar with other FANUC platforms can work on the M-900iA/350 without model-specific retraining.
